Tropical Holidays is a wonderful, relaxing holiday lodge, nestled between the beautiful palm trees and white sandy beaches of Mozambique.
All our accommodation is self catering units and we have a restaurant and beach bar with a swimming pool right on the beach.

Important Information
Confirmation of Reservation:
All reservations will be handled on a "first come, first serve" basis.
A 50% deposit, (amount as indicated on your quote) is required to secure and confirm your reservation within the first 7 days of receiving your reservation. NO reservations request can be considered booked until such deposit is received.
We accept bank deposits or electronic transfers.
The booking reference must reflect on all deposit slips / internet banking transfers as the reference for the transaction, so that we can identify your deposit/ transfer.
All payments via bank transfers, cash bank deposits, must include all relevant bank charges.
Deposits must be paid by the due date on reservation form; if not, the reservation will be cancelled.
For bookings during the peak December periods, we require that payment is made in full on the 1st of November. If payment is not made within the due date, the reservation will be cancelled.
For bookings during the rest of the year, the balance of the booking must be paid 30 days prior to arrival.
Kindly make sure that you are in possession of your Payment Confirmation as proof of payment on arrival at Tropical Holiday Holdings.
Cancellations:
As a seasonal business, late cancellations have a significant effect on the lodge.
If your check in date is within 60 days of the date of cancellation, you will be charged a cancellation fee, even if your cancelation is due to an “act of God”, i.e. floods, unrests, riots, injuries, illness, death, or other circumstances, such as vehicle break downs, flight delays, embargos, incorrect or expired travel documentation etc.
Please note that it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they have adequate travel insurance, correct visas, valid passports, and any other travel documentation that may be required for their holiday.
Cancellation Charges:
Non-peak season:
More than 30 days prior to check in date: No cancellation fee
Peak season:
Within 90 days prior to check in date: 50% of deposit paid
Less than 90 days of the check in date: No deposit will be paid back
If the guest can get a replacement for the booking for the same period the original booking was for, a 10% admin fee will be charged – 90% of the deposit will then be paid back.
Rather than cancel your booking, you can move your booking to a different date in the year. See “Date Changes” below. NOT APPLICABLE FOR PEAK SEASON BOOKINGS
No shows/ Late Arrivals/ Early departures
Non-arrival – you will lose your deposit and all other payments already made.
Late arrival – You will not be refunded for the days not spent at the lodge
Early departure – You will not be refunded for the days not spent at the lodge
24 hour Grace Period
A 24 hours grace from arrival date - will be granted to clients “en-route” to the resort. Should you fail to arrive within this 24 hour grace period, the lodge reserves the right to cancel your reservation and place other clients in your chalet for the duration of your reservation.
Date Changes
A reservation can be moved to a different date in the year; however the new booking will be subject to availability and price fluctuations, which vary according to the time of year. The rates are higher over the South African school holidays, with December being the peak season.
You will not be refunded for any decrease in the number of pax or the number of nights of your stay, however you can increase the number of guests and nights, and the applicable additional charges will apply.
Payments:
The following currencies are accepted at the lodge: Mozambican Meticais, S.A Rands, US Dollars, Euros and Pounds.
Accommodation Terms:
Should the accommodation booked at Tropical Holiday Holdings not be available for any reason whatsoever, Tropical Holiday Holdings reserves the right to book alternative accommodation of a similar standard.
Tropical Holiday Holdings recommends and books accommodation in good faith on behalf of the client from information at its disposal, and gives no warranties as to the suitability for the client. THH accepts no liability as to any expenses incurred by the client as a result of the client substituting any accommodation and/or arrangements.
Indemnity:
THH is not liable for any loss of or damage to property, life or person, for any reason whatsoever.
THH is not liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of airline delays, missed connections, accommodation substitutions, non-performance, negligence, omissions of operators or agents, adverse weather conditions, vehicle breakdown, accidents, family emergency or bereavement, or any event which may prevent you from travelling, fire, theft, injuries, illness, death or any incident whatsoever that may occur within the premises. Nor will THH be liable for any costs suffered as a result of these events.
Acceptance of terms:
By making a reservation with Tropical Holiday Holdings, you are deemed to have accepted the lodge’s booking terms, indemnity conditions and cancellation policy.
