The style of this home is rustic, which adds to that special bushveld experience. The property does, however, have many modern conveniences, meaning your stay here will be as enjoyable as possible.
The property features a large lounge area, which is air-conditioned, including an open-plan dining area and a fully equipped kitchen, and there is a lovely undercover outdoor patio extending the whole length of the house. The kitchen features an ultra-modern five-plate gas/electric stove, and the fridge is a double-door industrial unit, including a freezer. A microwave, dishwasher and washing machine complete the kitchen.
Each bedroom comes fully air-conditioned; three of the bedrooms have queen-size hotel-style beds while the fourth bedroom has two hotel-style single beds. There is sufficient bedding for the number of guests and towels are provided. Each bedroom has a small double door cupboard as well as bedside tables and lamps. The bedrooms also have plug in facilities for a USB port.
The home is a chef and entertainers paradise. There is a large boma next to the splash pool for those typical African bush braais. The boma is surrounded by a ”built-in” bench to seat everyone comfortably around the fire. There are suitable cushions to soften the seating. Should the weather not play along, there is also an undercover braai as well as a separate wood fired pizza oven for those wonderful pizzas or roasts.
We have pots and pans suitable for the extreme fire temperatures. There is also a gas fired pot broiler on casters so that everyone can be outside and no need for the chef to remain indoors. The two indoor kitchen cupboards are mounted on caster wheels so that they can be wheeled outside onto the veranda to limit the trips inside to collect things. The large veranda table can comfortably accommodate 10 people. It has a bench for the kiddies as well as high backed chairs for the adults with additional chairs around the dining room table should they be required.
The home is fitted with two gas geysers. The one geyser supplies 1.5 bathrooms and the kitchen whilst the other services the second bathroom. Each bathroom has a very big glass shower, whilst there is only one bath. To make your stay even more relaxing, the home is fully serviced daily with the exception of Sundays. Our lady will accommodate most of your requirements upon request. Should you not require or want her services, please let her know.
The house is linked to Securicon Security Company, so please lock up and arm when you are out. There is a double carport on the property as well. Please remember that the home is fully self-catering, and as such, there are no supplies including the wood stacked under the fire places.
Marloth Park is situated on the banks of the Crocodile River bordering the Kruger National Park. Game roam freely through the Conservancy and are regularly spotted amongst the homes. Guests can enjoy the tranquillity of the bushveld from the home. The Kruger National Park can be accessed daily through either Malalane gate or Crocodile Bridge gate, both a mere 25km away. This is in a malaria area.
