About Comrades Marathon 2015

Africa’s oldest ultramarathon is a punishing 87km trek between Durban and Pietermaritzburg. The famously fierce Comrades defines thousands of runners as they pound the tar and tackle five gruelling climbs while the clock ticks away mercilessly. The 2015 Comrades is a ‘down’ race so it starts in Pietermaritzburg and comes to an ecstatic end in Durban. Sheer lunacy? Maybe, but it’s a must do for ultra-fanatics to notch up the ultimate endurance challenge. 31 May, Pietermaritzburg to Durban.
